An application for membership shall be in writing on an application form provided by the East Penn Search and Rescue Team Inc. and will be presented at a regular monthly business meeting.
Prior to the next meeting, the membership committee will review all applications.
At the monthly business meeting the committee will make a recommendation to membership present and a vote shall be taken to either deny or accept the new member.
The new member must have the approval of at least 1/2 of the active members present at that monthly business meeting. Upon approval of the application he/she must then serve a 6-month probationary period in which time the new member must fulfill all active membership requirements and training.
